What You Are Purchasing
Buying music directly is one way to support LTLF and the artists behind the music. When you purchase an eligible LTLF digital music download, you are purchasing access to a digital copy of the identified recording for your personal, non-commercial use. You are not purchasing the copyright, master recording, underlying musical composition, lyrics, publishing rights, trademark rights, or any ownership interest in LTLF, the artists, producers, songwriters, or other rights holders.
Personal-Use License
Subject to successful payment and these terms, LTLF grants the purchaser a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and personally listen to the purchased recording. This personal-use license does not authorize commercial exploitation.
Rights Not Granted
Unless LTLF or the applicable rights holder separately gives written permission, a digital music purchase does not grant the right to sell, resell, sublicense, distribute, upload for public downloading, commercially reproduce, synchronize with film or video, use in advertising or branded content, create or commercially exploit derivative works, claim Content ID ownership, register the recording or composition as your own, collect royalties, or otherwise commercially exploit the recording or underlying composition.
Copyright, Masters, Publishing, and Other Rights
All copyrights and other rights in the sound recording and underlying musical composition remain with LTLF and/or the applicable artists, songwriters, producers, publishers, licensors, and other rights holders according to their respective agreements. Nothing in a consumer download purchase alters those ownership, publishing, master, royalty, licensing, or contractual arrangements.
Choose Your Price
If a release uses Choose Your Price, the stated minimum is the minimum purchase price. If you choose to pay more, thank you for supporting LTLF and helping us keep the music moving. Any amount voluntarily paid above the minimum remains part of the purchase price. Paying more does not purchase or increase copyright, publishing, master, royalty, synchronization, commercial-use, exclusivity, ownership, investment, or other rights.
Download Access and Technical Issues
We want buying direct from LTLF to be simple. Download links, limits, expiration periods, account access, or other delivery controls may be managed through the website’s order and download system. If you receive the wrong file, a corrupted file, a duplicate charge, or cannot access a purchased download, contact LTLF so we can review the issue and help make it right.
Commercial Licensing
Anyone seeking to use LTLF music in film, television, advertising, games, branded content, commercial videos, public campaigns, or another use requiring additional permission should contact LTLF regarding the appropriate license. A consumer download purchase does not itself grant those permissions.
